My Sister & i Competition and Giveaway Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility:

The competition/giveaway is open to all South African residents aged 18 years and older unless they are employees, agents, or affiliates of My Sister & i.

The competition/giveaway will be open for entries from the Specify Start Date to the Specify End Date unless otherwise indicated for specific competitions/giveaways.

  1. How to Enter:

To enter, please follow the instructions provided for the respective competition/giveaway you wish to participate in.

Any entry limitations and age restrictions will be clearly communicated for each competition/giveaway.

  1. Draws and Finality:

All draws are final, and the results cannot be disputed.

The winner(s) will be selected at random using a lucky draw method, the details of which will be provided on the competition/giveaway page, at the time of announcement of the competition/giveaway.

  1. Prizes:

Prizes hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for any other form of monetary compensation.

The content of prizes cannot be exchanged for other products, services, or items.

Additional terms and conditions related to specific prizes will be communicated to the winner(s) upon their selection.

Family members of My Sister & i employees are also ineligible to win prizes.

  1. Winner Announcement:

Winners will be announced on the competition/giveaway page, our official website, and our social media channels on the Specify Announcement Date.

It is the responsibility of the winner to check these platforms for announcements.

If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize within 7 days of the announcement, the prize will be forfeited.

  1. Prize Redemption:

To claim a prize, winners must carefully follow the instructions provided in the winner announcement.

Prizes not claimed within the specified 7-day timeframe will be redrawn, and the prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant.

  1. Privacy and Data Use:

By entering the competition/giveaway, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the sole purpose of the competition/giveaway.

Participant data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed here.

  1. Disqualification:

My Sister & i reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these terms and conditions or engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate conduct.

  • “Inappropriate conduct” includes but is not limited to:
    Multiple Entries: Submitting multiple entries under different names, email addresses, or any other method to gain an unfair advantage in the competition/giveaway.
  • False Information: Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information when entering the competition/giveaway, such as fake identities or contact details.
  • Tampering: Attempting to tamper with the entry process, the selection of winners, or any other aspect of the competition/giveaway, including hacking or cheating.
  • Harassment or Abusive Behaviour: Engaging in harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour towards My Sister & i, other participants, or individuals involved in the competition/giveaway.
  • Violation of Intellectual Property: Using copyrighted or trademarked materials without proper authorization, including using My Sister & i’s brand, logo, or content without permission.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Engaging in fraudulent activity to manipulate the competition/giveaway results, such as creating fake accounts, manipulating votes, or engaging in any other form of dishonesty.
  • Ineligibility: Participating in the competition/giveaway when not meeting the eligibility criteria, such as age or residency requirements.
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be a representative or affiliate of My Sister & i in an attempt to deceive or defraud participants.
  • Unsportsmanlike Behaviour: Engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct, including spreading false information about the competition or other participants, or engaging in any activity that could harm the reputation of My Sister & i or its participants.
  • Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions outlined for the competition/giveaway.

  1. Modification or Termination:

 

My Sister & i reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition/giveaway at any time without prior notice, should circumstances require such action.

  1. Governing Law:

– These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
